Manager of Analytics

What you’ll be doing: You will play a pivotal role in our future by owning the strategy development & execution of Media Network measurement & reporting program. You will manage people and processes related to the development of advanced analytics tools & dashboards to deliver accurate measurement & insightful reporting to vendors. We are developing a successful retail media network, growing at an impressive rate year over year, with room for innovation to drive scale. As the Analytics Manager, you will work cross-functionally with business partners to design and implement analytical tools and reporting dashboards that support scaling the overall Media Network business. You are a strategic thinker that consistently elevates your work. Acting as the lead of all vendor-facing analytics, you will create reporting wireframes, translate business needs into actionable plans for developers, and support ongoing analytical & reporting needs from key vendors. You will leverage effective communication skills to translate complex analyses into understandable insights and develop a strong vendor facing analytics team. What you bring to the table:

• Oversee all Media Network measurement and reporting, including defining key KPIs, designing vendor reporting dashboards, and managing vendor facing analytics team
• Translate campaign data and measurement into clear insights and actionable solutions for business and vendor partners

• Leverage a data driven approach to evaluate optimization opportunities on reporting capabilities / tools
• Identify and prioritize incremental opportunities and innovation for broader Media Network business
• This role will have no direct reports initially but will have input into the build-out of a team in 2023
• Develop and manage Vendor Reporting Analysts in building reporting capabilities & supporting vendor analytics requests
• Develop regular and impactful communication of progress and impact for Product & Ops Director and other senior stakeholders
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Engineers to design and create new analytical models, measurement pipelines, and visualization dashboards & tools
• Partner effectively with Sales & Partnerships team to ensure business needs around measurement & reporting are captured & reflected in standardized measurement & reporting templates
• Work cross-functionally with Sales & Partnership team to document and communicate capabilities, oversee and deliver customized vendor reporting, and prioritize vendor analytics asks

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in mathematics, statistics, computer science, Information systems, or a directly related field plus 7 years of Analytics experience
• Experience with web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Omniture, SiteCatalyst, and/or Google Analytics
• Expertise with SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to break down complex problems
• Strong understanding of retail media: programmatic, managed service, on/offsite, in store – and associated reporting and analytic models
• Strong technical and analytical foundation, with relevant experience in digital media advertising reporting and technology being a plus (including on/offsite advertising reporting, DSPs, ad serving/data technology, etc.)
• Proven success in building and leading people teams, as well as building/running sophisticated business processes across multiple internal teams in a high-growth environment
• Proven experience presenting analytical insights and answering all technical/data questions through all stages of the sales and implementation process
• Strong strategic and critical thinking skills; strong bias towards data-based decision making with the ability to break down complex problems and formulate plans
• Strong conceptual skills and ability to translate theoretical concepts into analytical or research methodologies and tools
