Gregg Macomber
Founder, Director, Recruiting Specialist
Gregg started Lightwave in 2011 with the goal of creating a recruiting agency that always treats employees, candidates and clients the right way. He enjoys partnering with companies trying to find the best talent and mentoring and leading the next wave of recruiters at LW. A former BMXer, Gregg is a graduate of Providence College (Go Friars!) with over a decade of staffing experience. He enjoys spending time with his family, hitting the links and coaching his three daughters’ youth sports teams.

Jason Mandel
Founder, Director, Recruiting Specialist
Jason started Lightwave in 2011 with the goal of growing a recruiting agency from an idea to a successful business with an emphasis on providing high quality services to our clients, candidates and employees. Jason oversees operations at LW and manages the consulting business. He is a graduate of Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO and has over 20 years of industry experience. Jason enjoys spending time with his family and two dogs Jordan and Jax and working on his vintage motorcycles.

Thalia Lynch
Recruiter
Thalia began her journey at LW in the Summer 2022 and after she graduated from University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a degree in Communications. Thalia previously worked as a personal care assistant and in customer service at TD Bank. She is excited to transfer her skills and networking ability to her recruiter role at Lightwave. In her free time Thalia enjoys cooking, traveling, hanging out with friends and playing with her puppy.

Spencer Sotell
Lead Recruiter
Spencer started at LW at the beginning of 2022 and his impact was felt immediately. He previously worked in the golf industry as an academy golf coach and PGA assistant golf professional. He also worked as a marketing coordinator at KOHR golf and in a sales role for a B2B rewards company. In a short time Spencer has delivered for hyper growth tech companies in the blockchain, cybersecurity and AI space. Spencer looks beyond the resume and builds strategic partnerships with his candidates to find the right fit for them. In his free time Spencer enjoys chasing birdies on the golf course, swimming and hitting the beach with a good book.

Jacob Sigel
Recruiter
Jacob is a talented recruiter with a passion for fostering long-term connections. He began his career at Lightwave after graduating from Roger Williams University. Having previously worked as a summer camp-lead counselor and certified baseball umpire, he has always enjoyed helping and supporting others toward their goals. Jacob focuses on driving our high-volume contract roles and is a valuable part of our team and culture.
